"LJ Collier revenge game" (vs Arizona) hit me hard :D

Last year they had a fluff schedule at the start, went 6-3 when they shoulda been 8-1... then finished 9-8 (so went 3-5 at the end when sched got tougher)..... this year they go 4-4 and then the sched gets a lot tougher.... probably will finish 7-10.... but hopefully a lot lower so we get a good draft pick. They ain't winning 11 games, they ain't winnin 10.... their maximum will be another 9-8 season.

Mmm, Brandon, if MacDonald's defense is going to be like calculus, then I will need re-watch game films at least twice or more each week...my Calculus classes in college were a disaster for my GPA lol. On a serious note, I was looking at the OverTheCap website today, I forget if it was Brendon or Corbin Smith, or someone else who had mentioned the 2025 Cap looks a little ugly? I peeked at it, and it looks like for 2025 the Hawks are already $17.5 million over the cap for next year? I'm assuming that's without any new 2025 FAs signed as well? I need some help from my favorite calculus TA to explain this. No rush, I am just curious if you have seen this. Great video btw, I think everyone is looking forward to MacDonald's freshman year as head coach. Will tease you more about San Diego another time. Go Hawks!

I was watching some videos on RUclips about Jones changing to edge.. Coach Macdonald wants to have the players able to move around the different positions along the front.. he’s got some sick ideas that intrigue me.. Macdonald saw how he could be used at many different positions on the line.. most of the players are going to be asked to play different spots.. the back four as well.. I hope we have a 10-7 season like you say.. I want to have a better record than that.. a hungry new coach with a plan should be able to do better than Pete Carrol.. who had more responsibilities to worry about other than just as head coach, and Pete was twice his age.. not to his benefit either, although he was still young enough and good enough to coach.. I miss Carrol but Mike M. has been given a decent team and support.. it can be an awesome year, God willing. Go Hawks!

I am super excited to see Macintosh get his carries this year. We have a dynamic WR group and a dynamic RB group. Very exciting.

Barring no injuries I think Grubb is going to have to use some GO-GO offensive 20(or even30) personnel and really try to confuse the defenses

Murphy was also a perfect fit for MacDonald... he plays all over the line and he played plenty of 0 tech/NT at Texas... exactly what MacDonald likes to do with his defensive players (move them around at all levels).

It was interesting with Seattle's picks after Haynes - they just took a bunch of guys that are off the charts athletically lol. What's encouraging to hear from Mac is he likes Knight's instincts.... that was at least one of the larger weaknesses according to multiple draft sites. I'll trust MacDonald's judgment over 'draft sites'..
